Join Our Team as a Funeral Assistant Jackson’s Funeral Home is seeking a dependable, compassionate professional to join our team as a full-time Funeral Assistant. This meaningful role is ideal for someone who takes pride in supporting families and colleagues with care, professionalism, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Work Schedule This full-time position requires availability for scheduled night calls and every other weekend. Applicant must be able to properly and safely lift at least 100 pounds. What You’ll Do • Provide respectful transportation from hospitals, nursing homes, and private homes. • Support the funeral director in preparing for funeral services and visitations. • Help set up welcoming, well-organized spaces for services and visitations. • Help keep the funeral home and vehicles clean, orderly, and ready for use.
